    Injury forces Sebastien Loeb out of the Silk Way Rally
    Sebastien Loeb is out of the Silk Way Rally after crashing his Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi. The Frenchman was sitting pretty at the front of the pack, but an incident with a drain has forced him to abandon his campaign due to injury. Although it's a shame, his exit opens up the race to the chasing pack.
  • The new Peugeot 3008DKR Maxi is 20 cm wider than last year's car - a quantum leap in size and one which will be tested throughly in next week's Silk Way Rally.

    Peugeot's first three attempts at returning to the Dakar Rally were 13th in 2015, a win in 2016 and a 1-2-3 finish in 2017. How do you follow that up? The team has designed and built a radical much-wider car for next year's race, and will test it thoroughly in the Silk Way Rally in China next week.
