We've seen camper vans with Mercedes' MBAC smart tech, and at this year's CMT show, we took a look at the first MBAC motorhome. Bimobil's LBX 365 is an off-grid expedition vehicle that now brings a little modern convenience to rarely explored spaces.

Last year, Mercedes debuted the Sprinter Connected Home to highlight its new MBAC touchscreen and app control system. A year later, the first production motorhomes with MBAC make their world premieres, showing how the tech can streamline #vanlife at campgrounds and off the beaten path.

One of the latest expedition vehicles to hit the road and deep, deep backcountry, the EX 435 from Germany's Bimobil is ready to prowl Earth in search of adventure and scenery. It combines Bimobil's tough-but-cozy living structure and hard-nosed Mercedes Unimog 4023 underpinnings.

The Sprinter isn't necessarily the Mercedes-Benz platform that immediately comes to mind when we think AWD expedition vehicle. That said, German camper manufacturer Bimobil has managed to create a convincingly tough Sprinter expedition vehicle.
