BMW M6

  • Since 1967​, BMW has been providing cars to act as canvases for famous artists, but the finished works have all been physical pieces. The latest takes the tradition in a very different, digital direction.
  • BMW has long shown that cars can be works of art. The brand has been handing its cars over to significant artists since 1976, creating a back catalog of race cars that wouldn't look out of place at MoMA. Now, there's a new John Baldessari Art Car.
  • BMW will unveil its new BMW M6 Coupe Competition Edition this week. The Competition Package supes up the existing M6 Coupe. A 4.4-l V8 petrol engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology produces 441 kW (600 hp), a maximum torque of 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) and a top speed of 305 km/h (189.5 mph).
  • The BMW M6 GT3 has taken to the track for the first time in Germany. The car was put through its paces at the BMW plant in Dingolfing. Having been announced last year, this marks the start of its testing period.
