Victory Motorcycles has turned a new page by unveiling its first fully electric motorcycle. The 2016 Empulse TT is a road-legal electric streetbike based on Brammo's Empulse R, after the Oregon, US company was acquired by Polaris Industries.

Victory Racing will make its professional debut in European motorcycle racing at the 2015 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy. A newly formed two-rider team on prototype electric race motorcycles will take on the infamous Mountain Course on June 10.

Brammo has updated its Empulse and Empulse R for 2014 with a 4.5 kg weight reduction, new instruments and Continental SportAttack2 tires. In most other respects, the Empluse is identical to last year's model with a water-cooled engine and six speed gearbox, and a top speed of 110 mph (177 km/h).

Brammo has revealed pricing details for its new Empulse and Empulse R electric motorcycles.

Ahead its scheduled unveiling alongside the new Empulse in a launch event to be held in Los Angeles on May 8, 2012, Brammo has released specs of its Empulse R electric motorcycle.

Brammo's has doubled the range of its pioneering Enertia electric motorcycle.

Brammo has come out swinging with the Empulse 10.0 - a streetfighter-style electric with a 100-mile range and a 100mph top speed. It will absolutely nail commuter duties, and offer a heck of a lot of fun - and the price is a pleasant surprise.
