Burning Man

It was four years ago that Brooklyn-based metal sculptor Adrian Landon presented us with a life-size Mechanical Horse that actually galloped on the spot. He's now taken things a lot further, with a giant flying horse that spouts flames as it runs.

Burning Man 2019 has drawn to a close, with attendees sharing a wondrous stream of images portraying the dusty playground in all its psychedelic glory.

The temple for the upcoming 2019 Burning Man festival could be seen as a little understated. But it was the "elegant simplicity" of the tasteful homage to the iconic torii gates of the Fushimi Inari Shrine in Japan that actually saw it win out over other design submissions from the community.
