The Pan Pacific Orchard, by WOHA, has been named the Best Tall Building Worldwide for 2024 by the CTBUH. The project was chosen due to its lush "hotel in nature" concept that offers a cool and comfortable environment in tropical Singapore.

The CTBUH has named Quay Quarter Tower, by 3XN Architects, the Best Tall Building Worldwide for 2023. The prestigious authority on skyscrapers hailed the project's clever repurposing of an old high-rise into an eye-catching cantilevering tower.

The COVID-19 pandemic is largely to blame for a second consecutive year of decline in the number of new tall buildings built worldwide, according to the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat's annual Year in Review.
