Back in 2017, Sweden's Einride presented its vision for the future of freight hauling with the cabless T-pod truck. The autonomous vehicle received NHTSA approval for use on public roads last year, and has now started daily operations in the US.

Einride first introduced its cabless autonomous electric T-pod truck back in 2017, which rolled on Swedish roads for the first time a couple of years later. Now the company has been given the green light for operation on public roads in the US.

Last year, a cabless, autonomous electric truck prototype called the T-pod took to public roads for the first time. Now its maker, Einride, has unveiled the latest generation of the vehicle, as it drives itself toward commercial availability.

​Sweden's Einride unveiled the first prototype T-pod truck in 2017. The transport company inked a partnership agreement in 2018 with global logistics company DB Schenker to test the T-pod, and now the autonomous electric truck has made its public roads debut.​

It might not be the quickest vehicle at the event, but Swedish transport company Einride has chosen the Goodwood Festival of Speed to reveal the T-log, an autonomous, electric logging truck designed to go off-road and to navigate forest roads with and without loads.
