General Imaging has announced a hand-held projector specially developed for the iPhone and iPos touch called ipico.

In terms of landmarks, General Imaging's GE PJ1 camera is the first of a new breed of camera that also includes a Pico projector.

General Imaging has launched its first-ever waterproof model at PMA 2009 - the G3WP. The 12.2 megapixel compact is waterproof to 10 feet, has a 4x optical zoom, Image Stabilization and a 2.7-inch LCD screen that automatically adjusts to changes in ambient light.

The next generation of GE digital cameras for 2008 feature smile detection, blink detection, upgraded lenses, and LCD screens that adjust to changes in ambient light – all packed into slimmer bodies. The E1050 also adds HDTV, touch-screen and GPS capability.
