Back in October 2023, Gocycle teased "a complete lifestyle upgrade for parents, grandparents, kids, pet lovers and stuff haulers across the globe" with an upcoming entry into the cargo bike space. Now the CXi and CX+ have officially launched.

Although there are now a slew of manufacturers offering folding ebikes, UK-based GoCycle was one of the first to popularize them. The company's GX model is an excellent urban commuter, as I recently discovered when I tried one out for a week.

The race is on amongst the mobility companies for the missing link – the smallest, lightest manpackable form of transport man can conjure and the Yikebike stakes its claim.

The ongoing development of vehicles offering two modes of transport was a key trend evident at Auto China last week. Personal transportation needs are changing and Geely and BMW are the latest to demonstrate cars with inclusive last-mile transport.
