Google has created an app to turn Android devices into mobile laboratories and inspire young scientists.

A huge operation has been carried out to create the centerpiece of the new Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science in Miami, US. Created in one continuous concrete pour that took 24 hours and 49 minutes, the 500,000 gal Gulf Stream Tank aquarium will be home to a number of deep sea species.

Science Museum's new permanent exhibit, "Information Age: Six Networks That Changed Our World" was recently opened by Queen Elizabeth II when she sent the first tweet by a British monarch.

Zaha Hadid has been selected to design a new mathematics gallery for the London Science Museum.The gallery is set to open in 2016 and will be named after David and Claudia Harding, who provided a £5 million (over US$8 million) donation.

London's Science Museum has just awarded the commission to build its new Research Center to Coffey Architects. The project will bring together exhibition and research in an interior defined by books and natural light.
