A steady stream of new engines, gearboxes and special variants has kept the Aston Martin Vantage looking fresh. Now, the smallest Aston has been treated to a rework from the new AMR department. Along with its more powerful engine, the Vantage AMR gets a unique look and race-inspired goodies.

Aston Martin has turned to its racing heritage for another stripped-back, Vantage road racer. Based on the V8 Vantage, the more powerful GT8 promises a hard edged driving experience to back up its lairy carbon makeover.

Aston Martin has been around for 101 years and to mark the occasion the car maker is debutting two new special editions at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Vantage N430 and the DB9 Carbon Black and Carbon White.

The Aston Martin V12 Vantage S gets a 565 hp makeover as it replaces the outgoing V12.

Of all the changes to Aston Martin’s Vantage that have produced the new S model, it’s the all-new seven-speed Sportshift II automated manual transmission which makes the biggest difference.
