At Mobile World Congress this week, Energizer unveiled the P18K Pop, which is basically more battery than phone. Packing a ridiculous 18,000 mAh capacity, it apparently lasts weeks on a charge – but on the flip side, it brings new meaning to the old phrase “brick phone.”

Energizer has announced a new line of high-performance AA and AAA alkaline batteries that are in part made by recycling old cells, with plans to eventually use recycled materials in all of the company's future cells.

These days, if you go looking for batteries you're likely to find a range of products with some fairly bold claims on their packaging.
