After joining the 200-MP club with the international launch of the Honor 90 phone, former Huawei sub-brand Honor is keeping up the momentum with the release in China of what's billed as the thinnest and lightest book-style foldable smartphone to date.

Former Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced the international launch of the Honor 90 smartphone, which not only rivals the mighty Galaxy S23 Ultra in the camera department but boasts a HDR10 OLED display that's designed to be kind to your peepers.

Honor has announced the global launch of its latest flagship smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2023 in Barcelona. The star of the Magic5 Pro show is the rear triple camera array, which has taken the top spot in DxOMark's global rankings.

Earlier in the year, Honor launched a flagship foldable smartphone called the Magic V, but the former Huawei sub-brand released the handset in China only. Now its second folding phone, the Magic Vs, is pegged for international availability.

Last year Chinese smartphone brand Honor revealed its first flagships since breaking away from a troubled Huawei in 2020. Now the company has flown into Barcelona to impress global consumers with the latest generation of its flagship smartphone.

Honor has joined a folding phone space occupied by companies like Samsung, Oppo, Xiaomi and Huawei with the launch of the Magic V – which comes with sizable OLED displays, five high-res cameras and is powered by Qualcomm's latest mobile chipset.
