The first Parco Valentino Classic Concours for vintage cars was held last weekend and being run in conjunction with the open air Parco Valentino - Salone dell'Auto di Torino, it looks set to become a fixture on the world concours calendar in a town with a spectacular automotive heritage. Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este has been held annually at the palatial 16th-century villa on Lake Como since 1929. As a setting for a celebration of automotive heritage, there could be no finer location, as the former royal residence is world-renowned for its terraced Renaissance gardens.

The Best In Show Award at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance was won by this 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta owned by David and Ginny Sydorick.
