Mercedes-Benz Classic, the restoration arm of Mercedes, has reconstructed the streamlined race car from 1932. The SSKL will be showcased at Pebble Beach as part of the event's "125 Years of Motorsport" theme. A 1938 Mercedes-Benz 320 n combination coupe (W 142) will also be shown.

The world's best concours car is generally attributed to the winner of the Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award, which this 1937 Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B​ won in February. In 2018 it won the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance​, and now it has taken 'best in show' at Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este​

Audi has unveiled a concept car at Pebble Beach Automotive Week for the first time ever. The new PB 18 e-tron is a high-performance concept combining success from Audi’s LMP1 race car and the R18 e-tron. The car is powered by three electric motors, outputting up to 570 kW (764 horsepower).

Infiniti has teased its Prototype 10 concept car ahead of a full reveal at the 2018 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance next week. We don't know much about it yet, but the Prototype 10 looks to be an angular, electrified speedster straight out of a sci-fi movie.

A Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic has won the 2017 Peninsula Classics Best of the Best Award in Paris. The defacto world championship for concours cars, the award pits the winning cars from the eight most important concours events in the world each year, creating an annual champion of champions.

The partnership between Aston Martin and Zagato spawned the Vanquish Zagato Coupe and Volante last year, but the designers clearly had more to give, because Pebble Beach will play host to another creation. Meet the Zagato Speedster, which will be followed by a Shooting Brake.

Infiniti is set to completely unwrapped the stunning retro-futuristic Prototype 9 this week. Inspired by classic Japanese racers and aircraft, the car blends stunning proportions with a modern electric powertrain to create one of the most interesting concepts we've seen this year.

This 1965 Ferrari 330 GT was transformed from a standard 1965 Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 to something quite unique by Carrozzeria Alfredo Vignale. It will sell at the official Pebble Beach auction next week, with an official estimate of between $700,000 and $900,000.
