Sao Paulo motor show

Over at the São Paulo Motor Show, Nissan is showing how the Frontier can prove a potent force in search-and-rescue. The Frontier Sentinel concept has a raft of upgraded capabilities and components, including a drone-launching platform, portable power station and gear organization.

Volkswagen debuts the clever, little Tarok Concept at the 2018 São Paulo Motor Show. The near-production small pickup is influenced heavily by smart, modern SUVs but still does serious work, carrying payloads up to 1 tonne (1.1 ton) in an extendable bed that grows around cargo.

The Fiat FCC4 wasn't the only interesting utility vehicle concept to come out of the recent São Paulo Motor Show. Renault experimented with a sporty pickup version of the Dacia Duster SUV, showing how the platform could haul five people with a bed full of gear.

"A real four door coupe with an adventurous spirit" is the description Fiat provides for its new FCC4 design study. We call it more of a CUV with pickup car-like rear-end. Or maybe just weird. Step inside and see what was on Fiat's mind when penning this strangely shaped vehicle.

Ford has designed a pair of custom Troller T4 off-road special editions. The specialized versions of its Jeep-like, Brazil-market 4x4 are built to go deeper and include a variety of upgrades, such as snorkels and winches.
