Sigma has unveiled the BF, a $2,000 mirrorless full-frame camera carved from a single block of aluminum. It's aimed at shooters looking for a simpler approach to photography without the technological excesses of modern gear.

Back in 2019, Sigma unveiled a 24.6-MP full-frame mirrorless camera claimed to be the world's smallest and lightest. Now the imaging company has added the fp L, which packs a 61-MP full-frame sensor into the same body dimensions as its older sibling.

The Sigma fp is billed as the world’s smallest and lightest full-frame mirrorless camera, and with a body length of 11 cm (4.3 in) could be slipped into a pocket without too much trouble at all.

The sd Quattro and sd Quattro H are a pair of newly-announced mirrorless cameras from Sigma. The duo will feature APS-C and APS-H sized versions of the firm’s Foveon X3 (Quattro generation) image sensor and use the SA lens mount.

The Sigma dp Quattro is a new line of fixed focal length compact cameras which are very different to most of their rivals. In addition to having a distinctive design, the cameras also use the latest iteration Sigma's Foveon X3 direct image sensor.

One of the drawbacks of investing in an interchangeable lens camera is that you're invariably locked into its mount system, whether that's Canon, Nikon or Sony. But that could all be about to change with the launch of the Sigma lens mount conversion service.
