If electrics aren't yet ready to take over in the motorcycling world, maybe forced induction could rule the next era. Honda has just dropped a revolutionary large-capacity V3 combustion engine at EICMA, with an electric supercharger.

As we move to a zero-carbon transport future, Kawasaki is testing the waters of greener and cleaner motorcycle technologies. Following the reveal of a hydrogen-powered Ninja H2 SX last year, the prototype has made its first public appearance in Japan.

Armed with a 300-horsepower, supercharged engine from Kawasaki's fearsome H2R hyperbike, the K-Racer X1 unmanned helicopter is an absolute beast of a cargo drone, the size of a small car. Watch it lifting a national-record weight in this new video.

Kawasaki is doing some fascinating work toward decarbonizing motorcycles. After launching the world's first hybrid streetbike in the Ninja 7 Hybrid, it's now built a supercharged, zero-emissions, hydrogen-powered Ninja H2 SX. An H2 H2, if you will.

Lotus has treated the car to a comprehensive makeover, resulting in a much more focused beast than the base Evora.​

Australia will be saying farewell to Holden this year, spelling the death of locally developed rear-drive performance cars Down Under – and in the UK. The Vauxhall VXR8 GTS-R will be the last Aussie muscle car sold in the UK, but its 600 hp engine means it won't be going quietly into the night.

​Dodge set the internet alight with the Demon earlier this year, but it's been busy on other projects as well. It doesn't get the full gamut of drag features from the Demon, but the new Hellcat Widebody borrows from its unhinged big brother to deliver more grip and a meaner, more imposing stance.
