We wrote about the new high-tech gladiator sport of UWM yesterday – but to steal a phrase, writing about martial arts fighting is like dancing about architecture. To appreciate this sport you need to see it in action. So here's your chance. This two minute video will give you a good idea of what UWM combat will feel like to watch ... and Loz Blain is ready to enter the first tournament in 2016.

Very cool, not sick. Once you have the physical moves engrained, it is somewhat akin to riding a bicycle. You can quickly come, "back on line". Decades have passed when I seriously played for long with steel in the confines of collegiate fencing. Oh, by the way, I can hold my own against wild broadsword fighting. Finesse & speed are advantages.
Funny story. Our instructor went on to Pirates of the Caribbean. The final day of saber class, he took on his entire class at ONCE! Some 20 of us! He "killed" every one of us! He sustained just one "wound" to the chest. Lethal? Not sure but this system would tell us. He just saluted us all, and thanked us! I want to do this system!!!

@Brett: This DOES look sick! I'm not normally one for this sort of thing, but I'll definitely check this out when it does show up on pay-per-view. Real-life Street Fighter, no injuries. What's not to love?
