January 25, 2008 Polaris has unveiled a new six-seater Ranger Crew, which will join the Ranger 2x4, 4x4 EFI, 6x6 EFI, XP (700 EFI) and Ranger RZR. With 907kg towing capacity and a 454kg cargo box capacity, the Crew has more towing and carrying ability than any of its predecessors.

Two rows of three-across seating with massive under-seat storage complete the super sized theme and independent rear suspension (22.9cm travel), plus 27.9cm ground clearance and On-Demand All-Wheel Drive ensure a smooth ride.

The Crew cruises with a 40hp, 700 Twin EFI engine that has a top speed of 71 km/h. The AWD system automatically senses when you need more traction and locks in the front wheels. To ensure minimal damage to the terrain, the Crew uses a turf-friendly, electronic locking rear differential.

The Polaris Ranger Crew also features new dual-piston calliper front and rear disc brakes, providing 30% better braking than last year’s Ranger. As with all Ranger models, the Crew is compatible with the Polaris-exclusive Lock & Ride cargo system.
