​Lamborghini has finally fully unveiled the Aventador SVJ, whose Jota suffix denotes its track focus. The Aventador SVJ’s unveil in Monterey, California at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance includes a special edition SVJ 63, paying homage to the company’s founding in 1963.

The newest Lamborghini, the Aventador SVJ, has yet to be released to the public. That hasn’t stopped Lambo from taking it to the Nurburgring and setting a Nordshleife lap record, though. The Aventador SVJ set a new production car lap record of 6:44.97 minutes while wearing stylish camouflage.

The Lamborghini Aventador is a glorious throwback to the old days. While some exotic brands have followed the trend to polar bear-friendly engines, the Lambo flagship is still powered by a naturally aspirated V12 – one which now has even more power in new Aventador S trim.

Lamborghini revealed the Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce Roadster at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance over the weekend. The half-million-dollar roadster packages the blistering performance of the Superveloce with a little more blue sky overhead.

Four years ago, Lamborghini first released the Aventador LP 700-4. This week at the Geneva International Motor Show, the automaker unveiled its latest take on the model – the lighter, more aerodynamic and more powerful Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce.

Lamborghini and Pirelli have come together to celebrate over 50 years of collaboration. To mark the occasion, the Italian auto maker has unveiled its Aventador LP 700-4 Pirelli Edition, a styling special that goes on sale in 2015.

Having seen the sumptuous collection of angles and curves that is the Lamborghini Huracán in person during its North American debut a few months back, I was just slightly pleased to learn I’d be driving the 610 hp specimen out of Lamborghini’s headquarters in Sant’Agata this month.

Lamborghini’s has announced the successor to its outgoing Gallardo – the 610 hp Huracán LP 610-4. Sporting all-wheel-drive and a more dynamic chassis, the new baby Lambo will need to work hard to surpass the Gallardo’s ten year sales record and impress its loyal fan following.

The setting is a private house located two miles off a Californian highway, up a very narrow, misty road. There waiting in the driveway is Lamborghini’s $4 million rolling concept, the Veneno. Next to it is the rolling reality of an Aventador LP 700-4, and it's time for a test drive.
