The groundbreaking Dethleffs E.Home Coco camping trailer has taken another big step toward reality. Parent company Thor Industries has teamed with ZF Friedrichshafen to develop an eTrailer system that uses electric motive power to move its own weight.

In 2019, Hymer presented the VisionVenture concept. The new iSmove motorhome from Niesmann + Bischoff isn't the production version of that van, but it does pack smart features that closely resemble Hymer's concept, including a hybrid wet/dry bath.

Erwin Hymer Group is one of the most innovative RV manufacturers in Europe, and now it's bringing some RV magic over to the US. Parent company Thor Industries has formed Hymer USA to build and market European-designed RV products on American soil.

Hymer's Concept Galileo looks ahead to the year 2030, when we could have self-driving, tour-guiding camper pods customized to the traveler's every whim.
