Rimac, maker of some of the most extreme electric sports cars the planet has ever seen, is about to get its fingers into the mass market pie through a US$90 million investment from Korean automakers Hyundai and Kia.
Hyundai has brought forth a new generation for the Veloster coupe with an all-new 2019 model year design for the car, plus a turbocharged option and a new, high-performance model under Hyundai’s N lineup. Also in Detroit is the Veloster special edition made for the upcoming Marvel Ant-Man movie.
Having established its high performance N sub-brand in 2015 with some concept cars, Hyundai has unveiled the first production vehicle to be released under the N banner. With the i30 N, the Korean automaker says it wants to bring ""exhilarating driving pleasure" to the masses.
