​Jaguar Land Rover is no stranger to crazy stunts, but the latest effort is undoubtedly its coolest. After a Land Rover Discovery pulled a Road Train through the Australian Outback, the team at Jaguar has set a new world record for towed speed on skis in the Arctic Circle.

Furthering its support of Formula E electric racing, Jaguar has announced the world’s first production battery electric vehicle race series. Called the Jaguar I-Pace eTrophy, the series will support FIA’s Formula E championship, utilizing the same race circuits on the same weekends.

Autonomous concepts with funky seating and unique displays are popping up, but the idea of a removable steering wheel is new. Created as part of the upcoming Future-Type concept from Jaguar, Sayer is a removable steering wheel designed to travel with owners as they jump between cars.

RM-Sotheby's London sale on September 6 has a car with a great story: it's a Land Rover Defender SVX used in the blockbuster 24th James Bond adventure film, SPECTRE. With an estimate of £100,000 to £150,000, it seems just way too cheap.​

In a nutshell, the 2017 Land Rover Discovery is rugged, capable, and comfortable. Improvements have been made on several fronts, not the least of which in how the Discovery now handles itself on around town.

Following the Land Rover Series I and Range Rover Classic Reborn models, Jaguar Land Rover Classic presents the E-type Reborn. At this year's Techno-Classica Essen, it will reveal the first of 10 E-types it plans to rebirth, this one a beautifully revitalized 1965 Series 1 Fixed Head Coupe 4.2.

Jaguar Land Rover has dived deep into the world of factory-spec neo classics, with projects like its continuation Lightweight E-Type. Its latest release is the Range Rover Reborn, a limited-edition series of classic Range Rovers meticulously restored by the company that built them.​​​

Zero-to-62 mph is a spec that the buyer of any performance vehicle is going to want to see, but not all vehicles are optimized to perform only on pavement. Land Rover experiments with how its 542-hp Range Rover Sport SVR accelerates on other terrain, including sand, snow and wet grass.

Jaguar is undergoing something of a renaissance at the moment. Having nailed down an attractive design signature for its cars, the next step in the resurrection is an efficient new set of powertrains and a brand new eight-speed gearbox.

​There are plenty of luxury SUVs on the market, but the Range Rover stands tall as the most luxurious example of the breed. To maintain this status, Land Rover has taken the V8 from the Range Rover Sport SVR and squeezed it into SVAutobiography, creating the SVAutobiography Dynamic in the process.

Through its history, Land Rover has retained a well-deserved reputation for offroad ruggedness and capability. With the 2016 Range Rover Sport, a new diesel powerplant makes for a get-anywhere machine worthy of royalty.

Land Rover rolled the very last Defender off production lines on Friday, putting an end to 68 years of Series/Defender production. It's not all bad news for Defender lovers, though.
