Ethiopian-born American artist Julie Mehretu is on a roll. In October 2023, one of her paintings sold for US$9.3 million with another fetching $10.7 million in November 2023. Though she had been "the most likely to succeed" for three decades, her work has now moved her name into the pantheon of African, womens and indeed all art. In 2024, one of her near priceless artworks might win the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The 2022 Pebble Beach Concours has gone to a Duesenberg J Figoni Sports Torpedo from a strong field, including a Talbot-Lago T150C-SS Figoni & Falaschi, a 1930 Duesenberg J Graber Cabriolet, and a 1951 Talbot-Lago T26 Stabilimenti Farina Cabriolet.

Audi has unveiled a concept car at Pebble Beach Automotive Week for the first time ever. The new PB 18 e-tron is a high-performance concept combining success from Audi’s LMP1 race car and the R18 e-tron. The car is powered by three electric motors, outputting up to 570 kW (764 horsepower).
