​Back in 2015, Canadian inventor Ryan Bowley successfully crowdfunded his deadbolt Bowley Lock – it was claimed to be virtually pick-proof, yet still affordable. Now, he's back on Kickstarter with a very beefy padlock that incorporates the same proprietary technology.

​Chances are, you probably don't like it when a courier leaves a delivered package just sitting on your doorstep. Well, that's why BoxLock Home was created. It's a padlock that only the courier and yourself (or someone of your choosing) can open.

The Noke padlock has recently started shipping to backers, and although it may not be the first available to consumers, it's possibly the smartest and most secure smartlock on the market. We spent some time with the Noke to lock down its strengths and weaknesses.

Master Lock's new Bluetooth-enabled smart padlocks aim to make forgotten combinations or lost keys a thing of the past. Paired with the Master Lock Vault app, the new line of locks improves security, simplifies sharing and even sends out tamper alerts.​

The first time we heard about a padlock that can be unlocked by Bluetooth instead of a key or combination, it was the Noke by FŪZ Designs. While it won't be shipping until this June, however, the similar Quicklock will begin doing so next week. We recently had the chance to try out a sample unit.

Master Lock has introduced its dialSpeed electronic combination padlock.

The Matrix Key System lets you change your locks and render the previous key useless simply by inserting the next key in a series.
