Ricoh's Theta 360-degree camera has come a long way since it first appeared in hammerhead concept form at CES 2013. Now the company has toughened up the panoramic immersion machine so it can get to work in extreme environments.

Ricoh boasts that its lenses are the preferred choice of top projector makers around the world, so it's no surprise that its latest laser projector makes use of Ricoh glass "to deliver high-quality, color-rich 4K images from just centimeters away."

Though many smartphones today can survive a dunk in the drink, taking photos or videos while submerged can be a challenge. A dedicated case might help, but you may still struggle to match the rugged capabilities of the Ricoh's new WG-80 compact.

Ricoh Imaging has announced the March release of a new addition to the Theta family of 360-degree cameras. The Theta X comes with its own touchscreen for more independence from a smartphone, an interchangeable battery and a microSD slot.

Though E Ink technology is perhaps best known for its use in ereaders, it can also be found in phones, magazine covers, signage, and more. And now Ricoh is adding what's billed as the world's thinnest and lightest digital whiteboard to the list.

Ricoh has updated its line of fixed focal length compact cameras with the GR II. The new model is the first GR camera to feature built-in Wi-Fi for easy sharing and remote shooting. It also features a bigger buffer for better performance when using continuous shooting.
