SEMA 2017

The SEMA Show is all about the cars and trucks showered in aftermarket accessories, bright colors and crazy-creative hacking. But mixed in with these headlining stars, you'll find at least a few camper vans, off-road expedition trucks and even a seven-figure motorhome or two.

One of the best parts about the annual SEMA Show is the virtually even split between crazy cars and towering trucks. The lifted pickups and fully fortified off-roaders are as much a draw as the crazy car concepts. Here we've gathered our favorites.

The Ford Performance Drift Stick is an electronic handbrake for the Focus RS that is designed to do one thing – induce drift. The automaker claims that the unit is "intended for track use only," but it seems destined to appeal to all manner of Ken Block wannabes.

​It was a long time coming, but Hennessey's new Venom F5 is finally here. The Texas tuning house whipped the covers off its highly anticipated hypercar at SEMA in Las Vegas this week, revealing a mean-looking, carbon fiber body befitting the fastest production car in the word. ​​

We were half expecting Chevy to have a ZR2 booth at Overland Expo West earlier this year, highlighting its highly capable off-road pickup truck. It didn't, but it is highlighting the truck's expedition potential at this week's SEMA Show, debuting the ZR2 AEV.

EarthRoamer goes big this week, revealing the F-750-based XV-HD. Like a cabin on wheels, this huge expedition vehicle takes up to 6 people into the backcountry, keeping them comfortable in a four-season interior with self-sufficient electrical system, gorgeous wood and marble furnishings and more.
