Vinyl lovers at the audiophile end of the spectrum can pay a small fortune for a top notch turntable. But Austrian hi-fi manufacturer Pro-Ject has added a new turntable to its X line that promises true audiophile sounds at an affordable price.

​Back in January, we brought news from Crosley Radio that a rather special turntable was being made to celebrate Record Store Day. More details on the RSD3 mini turntable have now emerged ahead of release on Saturday April 13 in participating independent record stores throughout the US.​

Hym Originals has launched on Kickstarter to fund a turntable/Bluetooth speaker hybrid called the Duo. When not throwing out sounds from the record player, the wireless speaker can be removed from the dock and used for wireless streaming from any Bluetooth music source.

Foldio360 is a smart photography turntable designed to make shooting 360 degree product images easier. Currently looking for funding on Kickstarter, the turntable can trigger a smartphone or camera to take shots as it rotates.
