Italia Independent, the company and retail store chain created by Fiat heir Lapo Elkann kicked off a three year partnership with Ducati yesterday by unveiling its first joint project, the Italia Independent Ducati Scrambler limited edition.
Unveiled at Art Basel in Miami, the café racer-inspired limited edition Scrambler includes details such as a black engine with brushed cylinder head fins and visible machining, a black full exhaust unit with Termignoni silencer, low handlebars and aluminum rear mirrors mounted on the ends.
The short front mudguard, the nose fairing, the frame and the wheels are painted Night Copper (a color designed specifically for this special edition) and the seat is stitched in the same color. An aluminum plate with laser etching of each unit's serial number is attached, and the Italia Independent logo is featured on both sides of the tank as well as on the leather seat.
Only 1,077 units of the Italia Independent Ducati Scrambler limited edition will be produced.
