JetPack Aviation (company)
A California-based company led by Australian entrepreneur and pilot David Mayman, JetPack Aviation specializes in personal flight devices. JPA built the world's first successful turbine-powered jetpack, allowing safe and extended flight. The JB-series jetpacks are now in production, and frequently used in display flights worldwide. JPA is also working on the Speeder, a turbojet-powered modular Air Utility Vehicle that can be configured as a flying motorcycle, a cargo drone, a firefighting aircraft, or potentially a "Pocket F-35" capable of flying long ranges at close to the speed of sound.
