Smartwatches can help improve our health and fitness. But a new report says it's important to consider what kind of bands we put on them, as several popular brands were found to contain high levels of a class of chemicals linked to health issues.

Polar's latest premium smart sportswatch has gone up for pre-order. The Vantage V3 features a sharp, bright AMOLED display, comes with offline maps, and packs a new sensor suite called Elixir that's more capable than any Polar wearable before it.

At today's Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung confirmed recent online rumors of a gapless hinge and large cover screen for the Flip5 foldable while also revealing its Fold5 stablemate, plus the latest Wear OS wrist candy and a new tablet series too.

We were pretty impressed by the smartwatch experience offered by Mobvoi when the original TicWatch Pro launched in 2018, and now the company has moved into a new generation with its "most powerful TicWatch to date."

Garmin has announced a solar version of the Instinct 2 rugged smartwatch launched back in early 2022, which promises "infinite battery life" and comes with a built-in flashlight. The Instinct 2X Solar is also joined by a stealthy Tactical Edition.
