​​Tesla has cut the ribbon on a new charging station located onsite at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. The facility features the company’s latest charging technology, promising to get cars back onto the streets of Sin City dramatically quicker. ​

​​Charging times and range anxiety remain a big factor in the appeal of electric vehicles, and Tesla is seeking to address both in a big way through the third generation of its Supercharger.

​Though Tesla Superchargers number in their thousands, they're not yet as ubiquitous as gas pumps and folks who live in apartments can be left particularly wanting. Elon Musk has taken to Twitter to address both problems with another Supercharger expansion.​

​​Jaguar has a fresh focus on making its mark on the performance car scene, with its most powerful production car ever, the XE SV Project 8, leading the charge. The four-door sedan has now gone around the Nürburgring Nordschleife in record time, making it the fastest production saloon in the world.​

If you thought that the supercharged H2 and H2R duo might be a bit too much, at least these were sportbikes. How about a sport tourer version of the H2, complete with the supercharger and a stampede of 210 horses going two-up touring? Well, that’s exactly what Kawasaki has unveiled at EICMA 2017.

We usually loathe long teasers, but we're willing to overlook that fact when it comes to the Dodge Demon. The hyper-Hellcat will debut at the New York Auto Show, but a stream of details means we already have an idea of what the car will be like. Suffice to say, Demon seems like an appropriate name.

There are legends in the motoring world, and then there's the Mustang. Back in 1965, the 'Stang captured the imagination of Carroll Shelby, who took just two years to turn the first-generation Mustang into the Super Snake. Ford is paying tribute to that car with the launch of the 2017 Super Snake.

The network of Tesla Superchargers makes it easier to own an electric car, but the days of Model S owners topping up batteries for free are almost over. Anyone who buys a Tesla after January 1, 2017 will be given a number of free charge credits, at which point they'll have to pay for power.

A new electric vehicle (EV) charging station that has opened in Norway is claimed to be the world's biggest. Located in Nebbenes, about 65 km (40 mi) and​ 45 minutes north of the country's capital, Oslo, it offers 28 charging points said to cater for all types of modern EVs.
