Can't you just imagine him preparing that fish in the back of his Bentayga Fly Fishing before cooking it over the campfire?
Not every buyer will be an angler, but Mulliner says it can develop similar solutions for other sportsmen

Bentley imagines Bentayga owners putting the 600 hp W12, permanent all-wheel drive, adjustable ride height and other "go anywhere" features to work in traveling off the beaten path in search of adventure. And if you have enough money not to fret about every scratch and ding on the US$230K SUV, why not?

The Bentayga may be the SUV of Bentleys, but we're not too sure that many drivers are going to be piloting their Bentley of SUVs into the forest, through the mud and up the mountains. But Bentley seems to think so, and it's showing one particular set of outdoorsmen how Mulliner can customize a Bentayga around their needs. The Bentayga Fly Fishing by Mulliner is the ultimate ultra-premium fly fisherman's carriage.

The heart of the fly fisherman's Bentayga is a three-trunk storage system mounted in the boot. Along with a few matching accoutrements, these storage trunks help give Bentayga drivers and passengers relaxing, fun-filled days on the river complete with the type of luxury that they apparently can't do without, even when pulling slimy fish out of river water.

The saddle leather-trimmed master tackle trunk slides forward to provide easy access. Drop open the tailgate-style front panel and you'll find a burr walnut-veneered drawer holding cotton, hooks, feathers and fly-tying tools. Below this drawer are four leather-trimmed aluminum reel cases, keeping you organized and ready for action.

Joining the tackle trunk on the slide, a refreshments case holds three metal flasks and a set of Mulliner fine-china tableware. It also has a food storage compartment so you have a little something to use that tableware for. The entire refreshments unit also removes from the trunk to serve as a small bench, its quilted leather top providing a comfortable cushion.

The final component of the main three-piece system is a wader and boot trunk. The wood trunk is wrapped in saddle leather outside and lined with neoprene inside, keeping waders and boots neatly stored, whether they're wet or dry.

Accompanying those three trunk-spanning components is a series of four leather-wrapped rod holders secured to the underside of the parcel shelf. A carpet-trimmed pocket on the side of the trunk stores two landing nets tucked cozily in leather cases.

No one wants all that damp, rank fishing gear mussing and molding up his or her Bentayga, so Bentley also includes waterproof floor and rear-sill covers and an electronic dehumidifier. And we reckon the fine saddle leather and linen stitching will dissuade folks from ever putting any wet equipment anywhere near the trunk – fishing be damned.

Try as one might, he won't be fly fishing all the time, so the Mulliner kit removes to return the Bentayga trunk to normal.

The Bentayga Fly Fishing also introduces the welcome lighting system to the Bentayga lineup, casting Bentley and Mulliner logos (or the logo or graphic of the owner's choosing) on the ground as the doors open.

"The Bentayga Fly Fishing car showcases the breadth and level of detail a customer can expect from Mulliner," says Geoff Dowding, Mulliner director. "This is an individual bespoke solution and our skilled craftspeople can design elegant and exquisitely executed bespoke solutions to complement any customer lifestyle or hobby."

Not surprisingly, this "individual bespoke solution" doesn't come with a listed price tag.

Who are they kidding? That vehicle will never see unpaved surface. It is not an off roader.
I have a BMW X5. It is great on asphalt - can outaccelerate, outbreak and outhandle most sedans. Can it also handle unpaved roads? Yes. But, boy, it does not want to do that. Every bump and crevice is taken with such pain. The suspension is simply not geared towards that. Buy a 4Runner for that.
