Brabus

​Brabus is known for powerful Mercedes sports cars, but the tuner isn't afraid to set its sights lower. Based on the lowly three-cylinder Smart ForTwo, the Brabus Ultimate 125 adds a little more power, a bit more style and a crazy ​pricetag to the formula it debuted on the Smart Brabus last year.

​As symbols of motoring excess go, few can come close to the Mercedes S63 AMG Cabriolet. Sometimes, power and high-end engineering isn't enough, though. Brabus​​ is always willing to step into that void, in this case delivering the world's fastest four-seat convertible: the 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio.

Brabus unveiled a customized Mercedes S65 capable of producing 900 hp and a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h ). Dubbed the “Desert Gold” edition, the company introduced the supercar at the Dubai International Motor Show going on this week.

A lack of power wouldn't be a criticism you'd level at the Mercedes-AMG range, but as per usual, Brabus has seen room for improvement. The company's latest tuning treatment gives the AMG GT S an extra 90 hp (66 kW), and a raft of sinister carbon fiber styling tweaks.

Being a European auto tuner is an odd thing. It takes a certain amount of chutzpa to say, "What does Mercedes know about auto design?". BRABUS has been at it longer than most, and the company just took a run at Mercedes' C–Class wagon and seems to have slathered on more of everything.

With a 577-hp biturbo V8 powering a 0-60 mph time of just 3.9 seconds, the Mercedes S63 AMG 4Matic Coupe isn't exactly a slouch. Or at least it didn't seem that way before German tuner Brabus turned it into an out-and-out power-n-speed machine.

One of the more interesting vehicles to come out of Moscow International Auto Salon's press day, the Brabus Business Lounge transforms the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter into a spacious, luxurious conference room on four wheels.

Brabus' latest showcar is the Brabus 800 iBusiness, a widebody Mercedes G 65 with an 800 hp, 1,420 Nm, 6.0 liter V12 biturbo engine and a range of connectivity and display options to match any well-funded Silicon Valley start-up's offices.

German automotive tuner Brabus is now in the airplane tuning business.

The US$500,000 Brabus Bullit Stealth Coupe has no outward pizzazz whatsoever but can hit 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.8 seconds, and 300 km/h (186 mph) in 23.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of more than 370 km/h (230 mph).
