At EICMA 2022, Sweden's Cake launched its first medium-heavy off-roader in the shape of the limited edition Bukk. Now the full production platform has been announced, and it comes packing a brand-new electric drivetrain dubbed the Jante.

Swedish e-mobility brand Cake has added a new model to its business-focused :work family of electric two-wheelers, a Class 2 ebike called the Åik that can be optioned with three batteries for up to 224 miles of per-charge range.

Sweden's Cake has added three new models to its two-wheeler mobility lineup, all of which are aimed at younger riders. The Kids Evolution program features the Ready balance bike, the Steady mountain bike and the Go off-road electric motorcycle.

Swedish e-mobility company Cake is looking cut back or cut out the plastic used in the manufacture of its electric motorcycles, and has partnered with PaperShell to evaluate the use of its natural fiber composite instead.

Cake has gotten more serious about stopping African poachers. It has followed up its Kalk AP electric bush bike with an even more versatile, stealthy ebike, the Ösa AP. The new bike is part workbench, part cargo hauler and part off-grid power supply.

Sweden's Cake has updated the work-focused Ösa electric utility motorcycle and given jobs to other models in its line to form the new Cake :work series. Each new family member has been optimized for extra power, reach, efficiency and capacity.

Back in January, Sweden's Cake joined with the Southern African Wildlife College and Goal Zero to develop a special electric motorcycle to aid anti-poaching measures in the African bush. Now the bikes have been delivered and are in use by rangers.

Cake's all-new Makka, the "ultimate convenience machine," has gotten even more convenient in a collaboration with Polestar. The two companies team on a zero-emissions commuter tandem, a Makka that mounts on back of a Polestar 2 and charges on the ride.
