The first ever wrist-worn digital assistant to support Palm OS, the Fossil WRIST PDA has taken portability to the next level to create a powerful device that is truly wearable. Named best of Comdex 2002 in the mobile devices category, the WRIST PDA features an 160 x 160 illuminated screen with a stylus integrted into the band, 2MB internal memory, rechargeable battery and standard Palm platform features such as adress book, memo pad, to do list and calculator. With no room for cables in the suprisingly slender design, data transfer is via infrared port and provides a link to any Palm powered device. There's no word yet on a price or local release for the recently unveiled WRIST PDA, but stay tuned for updates at or visit to learn more.

Nice. Useful on the factory floor, where cameras and wireless comm links are prohibited, but one needs to jot down a part number, a memo, or set an alarm.
