Chevrolet has celebrated the Corvette's 70th birthday in a huge way, introducing the first-ever electrified Corvette. It eases the sports car into the electric era with an AWD mix of V8 and electric motor power that makes it the quickest Corvette ever.

When the eighth-generation Corvette debuted, it got a lot of attention. Our test drive proved the hype to be warranted. Now, Chevy has an all-new "American supercar" version of the ‘Vette in its storied Z06 track-tuned edition.

The new Corvette was an instant blockbuster. The redesign, which made it a mid-engined sports car to compete with high-end supercars, was a jaw-dropper, as was the retention of the relative affordability the Corvette has always been known for.
