Mazda's great-looking new CX-90 replaces the aging CX-9. The latter was an excellent three-row crossover, but it was outdated compared to the rest of the market. By contrast, the CX-90 definitely has a more modern appeal.

The 2023 Dodge Hornet looked to be an okay entry into a popular vehicle segment. The Hornet is relatively compact and, on paper, has good numbers. But most of my colleagues have not been kind to the Hornet. However, I think they’re wrong.

Hyundai has completely redone the Kona from the ground up. Still a compact, the Kona is now a bit larger to accommodate more rear-seat legroom, cargo space, and to make for a more EV-focused platform for electrification.

Volvo has launched the EX30 small electric SUV, and it believes its smallest SUV will be one of its most impactful products of all time. The crossover will offer up to 275 miles of range, a 3.4-second 0-60 mph, and Volvo's lowest CO2 footprint ever.

Ford is making 1,966 models of the 2023 Bronco Sport in its Heritage editions. The 1966 number refers to the year the Bronco was introduced. Throwback trim levels for the Bronco Sport include steelie-appearing wheels and nostalgic interior touches.

The Mitsubishi Outlander was fully redesigned for the 2022 model year, but its PHEV model was not. That came this year, with a total reconfiguration of the small sport utility. The result is a much-improved Outlander plug-in, but with a few caveats.
