Over the past wee while, immersive actioncam company Insta360 has been incubating a new camera-drone startup called Antigravity. Now the first flyer has been unveiled, a folding aerial adventurer capable of grabbing immersive 8K 360-degree footage.

Insta360 flipped the switch on action cams when it first released the first 360-degree One RS in 2022. Now, the company has just upgraded its flagship line with the all-new X5. But for a camera that was already near-flawless, what could it have done more?

The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is the latest action camera on the market. The successor to the Ace Pro gets quite a few features including Leica-engineered color profiles, a dedicated Pro imaging chip, 8K video quality, and most importantly, AI processing.

Insta360 has launched a new wide-angle actioncam called the Ace Pro, which was co-engineered with imaging titan Leica, and has the outward appearance of a GoPro, but offers more in the video and photo departments.

Back in 2019, Insta360 crammed the image stabilization tech from its 360-degree cameras into a thumb-sized 1080p actioncam/lifelogger called the Go. More capabilities were added in 2021, and now the much-improved Go 3 has been revealed.

Last year Insta360 introduced the One RS 1-Inch 360 Edition, a panoramic camera engineered in partnership with Leica. Well, the thing can now be used to shoot deeper underwater than ever before, thanks to Mantis Sub's RS360 watertight housing.

Insta360 has launched an update to its 360-degree pocket actioncam. The candybar-shaped X3 can capture all-around stabilized video at up to 5.7K resolution accompanied by directional audio, with tweaking possible via app-based AI editing tools.
