Though the world's smallest Laser TV took most of the CES 2025 spotlight, JMGO did have other models on display – including an early look at a new N series. Now it seems that the first N3 tri-laser model has soft launched.

Honor is hyping up a phone concept that looks too bonkers to be true – and for the moment, it is. The 'Robot Phone' has an articulating gimbal arm with a camera at one end, and the whole thing is hidden behind a sliding glass panel on the back. Why?

Although GoPro's Hero actioncams have featured digital image stabilization for quite some time, the company hasn't recently offered gimbals … but now it's doing so again. The Fluid Pro AI 3-axis gimbal not only tracks subjects, it also packs a light.

Last year we reviewed the Feiyu Pocket 2S, an actioncam with a hard-wired detachable gimbal camera head. Well, Feiyu has now upped its game with the fully wireless Pocket 3, which looks like it should make for much easier shooting on the go.

DJI is bringing its stabilization know-how to cinematic content creation with the launch of the Ronin 4D system, which rolls a new full-frame gimbal camera, 4-axis stabilization, a LiDAR focusing, and video transmission/control into a single package.

It was just last month that we told you about the Feiyu Pocket 2S, a handheld actioncam with a removable 3-axis gimbal camera. Well, I've since had a chance to try it out, and it does mostly live up to the hype – although it could be better in a few ways.

Though DJI is perhaps best known for its drones, the company has also been making smartphone stabilizers since 2015. Now the Osmo Mobile line has been renamed OM, and the latest model features a snazzy magnetic phone attachment system.

When it comes to video-camera-stabilizing gimbals, some are motorized, and some work solely by the force of gravity. The GravGrip is among the latter, but is unique in that it incorporates hydraulics.

​When it comes to gimbal-stabilized HD cameras, we're used to models that are attached to control handles, or that are mounted on drones. What if you want one that's just a stand-alone unit, though? Well, that's where the Stacam comes in.

Gudsen Moza has released a couple of new filmmaking tools at NAB 2019, including the interesting Slypod, which is effectively a motorized monopod that you can use as a precisely controlled camera slider. There's also a new AirCross 2 gimbal sized for mirrorless cameras.

Moza's latest DSLR-sized video gimbal is a big step forward from the cheap, lightweight Moza Air we reviewed back in 2017. But while it offers superior performance, and some cool new features and neat touches, it does require a couple of sacrifices from filmmakers.

​Moza's Mini-Mi is an affordable (US$109) smartphone stabilizing gimbal, letting you shoot cinematic steadicam-style shots. It's got a few tricks up its sleeve too, including wireless phone charging, hyperlapses, "inception mode" and some very cool but not-quite-there motion tracking capabilities.
