The six winners of the Hasselblad Masters 2023 photography competition highlight the extraordinary beauty that can be found in every day life, from humble homes to train journeys, and even small insects posing for close-ups.

Imaging titan Hasselblad has announced the successor to 2020's 50-megapixel 907X 50C digital camera system. The 907X & CFV 100C model boasts a camera back featuring a 100-MP back-illuminated image sensor that can be used with legacy film cameras.

OnePlus has announced its first challenger for the flagship foldable phone space, throwing down the gauntlet to more established rivals like Samsung and Google. The Open rocks a durable hinge, 2K 120-Hz OLED displays and Hasselblad-branded cameras.

Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum has released what it claims is the highest-resolution photo of an artwork ever created, with 8,439 individual 100-megapixel exposures stitched together to create a 717-billion-pixel image of a celebrated Rembrandt painting.

Introduced as a concept in June 2019, and briefly made available as a special kit to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, Hasselblad's latest 50-megapixel digital camera system is now available for general release.

In an interesting change of focus (yuk yuk), Hasselblad is opening its high-end imaging tools up to a wider range of people than ever before. And it begins with the X1D, the world's smallest and most portable mirrorless medium format camera. A medium format for the masses, almost.
