Voted by 100 of the most respected automotive journalists, the 2023 World Car of the Year Awards also name the Electric Vehicle of the Year, Luxury Car of the Year, Performance Car of the Year, Urban Car of the Year and the World Car Design of the Year.

By keeping the design of its EV9 electric SUV close to the concept, Kia showed it wasn't interested in a cookie-cutter e-crossover. Kia has now detailed that the EV9 will offer up to 336 miles of range and Level 3-autonomous Highway Driving Pilot.

Kia plans to introduce its production three-row flagship electric SUV, the EV9, later this month. Ahead of the full reveal, it's released exterior and interior pictures that preview bold, boxy styling and a digitized interior.

It’s been more than a year since a major US automotive show opened to the public. The Chicago Auto Show, running this once as a summertime show, opened to the public for the weekend to showcase several first-time-seen vehicles.

Kia has dropped the Optima and replaced it with the K5, a more sport-themed design. The K5 is, for all intents, a “new” Optima in that it has an all-new design, but takes lots of cues from the outgoing model ... at a decent price.
