On a beautiful warm summer day in southern Germany, little-known McMurtry Automotive took its Speirling PURE car to the Hockenheim Racetrack with former Formula1 racing driver – not to mention current Goodwood Festival of Speed record holder – Max Chilton, in tow.

There are now two Mercedes-Benz EQE models. One is a car, the other an SUV. Both are electric and both are great entries into the emerging EV market. We spent some time behind the wheel of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz AMG EQE 600 4Matic and were impressed.

Mercedes began introducing its EQ line of electric vehicles with the EQS sedan, which was followed quickly by the smaller EQE sedan and the EQB small crossover. All three share a common platform. We’ve now driven all three and here's how they compare.

Mercedes-AMG lost its Nürburgring production car record in 2021 when the Porsche 911 GT2 RS came roaring back to top the list. But it still had an ace in the hole: the 1,049-hp One hypercar, which has shot past the Porsche for Nürburgring supremacy.

After revealing its flagship EQS electric SUV earlier this year, Mercedes has revealed the mid-tier EQE SUV. A more adventurous multipurpose answer to the EQE sedan, the new SUV offers a range up to 342 miles and an AMG performance model with 677 hp.

It’s been five long years since the unveiling of the Mercedes-AMG Project ONE, but the production version has finally landed. With a Formula-1-inspired hybrid powertrain that generates over 1,000 hp, the ONE can reach speeds over 350 km/h (217 mph).

Mercedes-AMG was one of the first auto enterprises to fully exploit electric tech with the SLS AMG Coupé Electric Drive, and now it's back in the lab. The Vision AMG provides an initial glimpse at what its first ground-up EV might look like.

To celebrate its 45th anniversary, Brabus does something different, stripping the Mercedes-AMG G63 into a downright evil buggy that looks plucked from the side-by-side market. In fact, it's a literal OHV that's no longer street-legal in the least.

Add 200 hp to a high-performance 4x4, boost off-road capability with portal axles, and bolt on a pickup bed. Then paint the thing a white so pure it'll be filthy seconds after rolling out of the garage. That's the Brabus 800 Adventure XLP Superwhite.

Behold, ye fast, ye foolish, ye fiscally blessed and ye family laden. Brabus has deigned to furnish worthy garages with a 900-horsepower GLE-based SUV capable of 330 km/h (205 mph). This should be sufficient for most trips to the shops, no?

Mercedes has made its EV dedication known in the past, and today it shows just how dedicated it is. On the way to going all electric by 2030, it will preview the future with a Vision EQXX concept capable of traveling 1,000+ kilometers per charge.
