Vision Marine, the company behind the world's most powerful electric outboard, has launched the Phantom, a rotomolded plastic boat that's tough enough to last a generation and ready to be recycled at lifecycle's end.

Yamaha previously announced it would show a prototype hydrogen outboard at the 2024 Miami Boat Show. Instead of simply revealing the motor, it's installed it on a prototype boat complete with fuel delivery system. Testing will begin this year.

Yamaha may be the largest, most well-known outboard manufacturer in Japan, but Tohatsu was the country's first. Tohatsu remains a venerable force in outboard production today and is now teaming with Ilmor on an all-electric global outboard family.

Winnebago Industries has been advancing the prospect of electric recreational vehicles for land, and now it's brought that effort to water. The Chris-Craft Launch 25 GTe is a fully operational 420-hp electric concept boat built for speeds up to 43 knots.

Going from water sports to luxury cruising, Ingenity has followed up its Super Air Nautique 22E electric sport boat with the 23E day boat. The new day cruiser can spend up to 14 hours on the water and offers a spacious, triple-lounge deck for 11 people.

It's Miami International Boat Show time again, which means it's time to take a look at the latest collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing. This year's 41-foot AMG Carbon Edition is a four-motor, 1,600-horsepower, 83mph ocean rocket with a carbon fiber sandwich construction.

Now that Mercedes-AMG is building its most advanced hypercar ever, the annual Cigarette Racing special edition powerboat is just as cutting edge. With 3,100-hp of Mercury Racing engine might and a carbon and Kevlar-heavy build, the 515 Project One is like an F1 race car for the open seas.

The Cigarette Racing Team and Mercedes have teamed up once again, picking up where they left off with last year's GT S-inspired boat to create a GT3 boat. If this 2,200-hp open-top harpoon doesn't bring the thrill of car racing to the open seas, few vessels have a chance.

The 42-foot Huntress is the latest performance boat from the Cigarette Racing/AMG collaboration.
