Mopar has revealed its customized, limited-production 2024 Jeep Gladiator pickup. And the parts and accessories arm of Stellantis only plans to make 250 of them, exclusively for the US market.

One of the largest automotive shows in the world, the New York International Auto Show happens every year in New York City. For decades, it's been the home of the World Car of the Year awards and a fulcrum for automotive unveils in North America.

The new CJ Surge concept is a classic pre-Wrangler Jeep with a 200-kW electric drive powering all 4 wheels. The restomod has potential to be more than just a one-and-done, allowing Mopar to explore the possibility of an aftermarket electric kit.

The Specialty Equipment Market Association show (SEMA) happens every year, and usually features some seriously customized vehicles. Mopar’s offerings this year include a nose-thumb at Tesla, a customized plug-in Jeep, and a scary apex predator truck.

The world of full-sized pickup trucks, which are the best-selling vehicles in North America, has become very interesting. These once purely utilitarian vehicles have become much more, and nothing highlights their growing popularity quite as well as the booming after-manufacture add-on market.

Mopar and Dodge/SRT have been building race-ready, NHRA/NMCA-approved drag racers for quite a while. At the SEMA show in Vegas, Mopar has unveiled the fourth generation of the Drag Pak. And it’s sonic awesomeness.

Mopar debuted the Hellephant 1,000-hp at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Drooling crowds of performance junkies stared at it like seeing barbecue after Lent. Mopar says that almost 1,000 of those junkies have been willing to buy the engine named Hellephant, which is now available for pre-order.

This year's SEMA Show proved a bit tamer than last year's (no all-new 300-mph supercars or $1.5 million off-road motorhomes, we're aware of), but it was still wall-to-wall with lusty sports cars, delicious retromods and all other styles of wild one-of-a-kinds.

Jeep has teased its fourth-generation Wrangler coming for 2018, which will be built on a new JL chassis and debut at the LA Auto Show on November 29.

Along with the Hyundai Elantra GT Sport and Toyota RAV4 Adventure, the Chicago Auto Show played host to the Dodge Challenger Mopar, a two-tone special designed to celebrate 80 years worth of big wings, hood scoops and antifreeze from Mopar.

Mopar has shown its hand at SEMA, whipping the covers off six show cars for its stand at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Highlights include a Challenger, a retro-modern Jeep and a RAM Power Wagon.​
