Honda has announced a concept bike that's modeled after Koraidon, Pokémon Scarlet's prehistoric dragon. In addition to looking crazy cool, the Koraidon bike will be able to "stand" and walk, thanks to Honda's proprietary self-balancing technology.

Japanese design firm Ichiban has created a sleek, retro-futurist electric bike based on the original 1982 manga drawings by Akira creator Katsuhrio Otomo. It is modernized and made technically viable by Ukrainian industrial designer Ivan Zhurba.

Cafe racers originated in Britain in the 1960s, as modified sports production models. Since then, they've become a mainstay for most manufacturers … except Honda. That may soon change, as the bikemaker has filed a patent for a 300cc cafe racer.

The recently revealed TVS RTS X Supermoto concept has all the credentials to be KTM 390 SMC Supermoto's kryptonite. It's just as potent with a possibly better design, and might even turn out to be cheaper if and when it eventually enters production.

Just when you thought motorcycles couldn’t get any wilder, Yamaha has dropped the sci-fi-inspired Y/AI prototype. It’s built in partnership with Netflix for an anime called Tokyo Override, which is set in a dystopian Tokyo 100 years in the future.

The recently concluded EICMA is solid proof that CFMoto is on the up. The Chinese bikemaker revealed its near-production, all-electric CF-X concept. It’s designed to take on the traditional 450cc ICE dirt bikes. And it’s a looker.

The Rocket One is a wonderfully futuristic-looking concept motorcycle, with a massive LED headlamp that looks like a jet engine inlet or the Argo’s wave motion gun from Star Blazers, and enough power, torque and battery to make things interesting.

Harley-Davidson's all-electric LiveWire division is collaborating with Taiwanese scooter giant KYMCO on high-performance electric maxi-scooters. Anticipated to hit the market in 2026, these scooters will make use of LiveWire’s S2 Arrow powertrain.

Honda’s presence in the electric two-wheeler space has long been limited to one-off scooters and bikes. But all that is set to change with the unveiling a performance electric motorcycle called the EV Fun Concept at this year’s EICMA trade show.

CFMoto's engineers have had their hands full. Its booth at EICMA had quite a few new releases on display, but the star of the show was a brand new, state-of-the-art 1,000cc V4 and a superbike concept signalling the company's WSBK intentions.

The global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment has taken the wraps off not just its first-ever electric motorcycle, but also a separate EV vertical altogether, dubbed Flying Flea. RE has confirmed that it will arrive in Spring 2026.
