The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering began in 2003, and has grown inside the last 16 years to become the foremost of the events which didn't begin at the very first running of Monterey Car Week in 1950.​ It is very different to what you might expect. Here's why.

Jaguar Land Rover Classic dropped a bombshell at the hyper-exclusive Quail Motorsports Gathering last Friday, announcing the production of electric-powered Classic E-Type Jaguars, and the provision of fully-reversible electric conversion services for existing Jaguar E-Type owners.

A new world record for a car at auction was set this evening when a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO sold for $48,405,000, breaking the existing record of $38.115 million set in 2014 for a 1962/1963 Ferrari 250 GTO.

​Lamborghini has finally fully unveiled the Aventador SVJ, whose Jota suffix denotes its track focus. The Aventador SVJ’s unveil in Monterey, California at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance includes a special edition SVJ 63, paying homage to the company’s founding in 1963.

Audi has unveiled a concept car at Pebble Beach Automotive Week for the first time ever. The new PB 18 e-tron is a high-performance concept combining success from Audi’s LMP1 race car and the R18 e-tron. The car is powered by three electric motors, outputting up to 570 kW (764 horsepower).

​Curtiss Motorcycles, the electric phoenix that rose from the ashes of Confederate, has released an image of its upcoming "hot rod goddess" at Pebble Beach. Named "Hera," this stretched-out, battery-powered monster is due to hit the streets in 2020.
