The recently concluded EICMA is solid proof that CFMoto is on the up. The Chinese bikemaker revealed its near-production, all-electric CF-X concept. It’s designed to take on the traditional 450cc ICE dirt bikes. And it’s a looker.

The entry-level adventure bike class is heavily populated by the likes of KTM, Royal Enfield, and CFMoto’s hugely capable offerings. These 400-500cc bikes are fun, lightweight, and most importantly, affordable. Now, BMW is set to take on them all.

If electrics aren't yet ready to take over in the motorcycling world, maybe forced induction could rule the next era. Honda has just dropped a revolutionary large-capacity V3 combustion engine at EICMA, with an electric supercharger.

Since 2018, Chinese motorbike outfit Benda has made a name for itself with its strikingly modern takes on cruisers. Interestingly, its smallest capacity bike is perhaps the most aggressive little 250cc machine on the EICMA exhibition floor this year.

Royal Enfield’s famed 650 twin platform has been a big hit ever since the Interceptor and Continental GT came out. With the Shotgun 650 launching at the turn of the year the Classic 650 and the Bear 650 are the newest twins on the block.

Renault's fun-loving Twizy compact EV was spun out into a new sub-brand in 2022. Now, following a world premiere at the Paris Motor Show last month, the Mobilize Duo electric micro-car and Bento e-van have driven onto the show floor at EICMA in Milan.
